Recruitment Dashboard Overview

This guide walks you through leveraging a recruitment dashboard’s key features to analyze, filter, and drill into recruitment data effectively. The dashboard contains interactive filters, quick actions, and visualizations designed to help you make sense of your hiring process and gain actionable insights. Whether you’re interested in tracking candidate pipelines, reviewing hiring manager progress, or measuring application trends, this article covers step-by-step instructions for each major function

Setting Your Dashboard Time Frame

  • Select the desired year from the year dropdown menu on the dashboard.
  • Select the preferred month from the month dropdown. This focuses your view on a specific period with up-to-date recruitment data.
  • After both selections, the dashboard automatically updates, displaying data for your chosen time frame.

Filtering by Department and Hiring Manager

  • Choose a department from the department dropdown menu. Options usually include departments like CREATIVE or ADMIN - Administrative Department alongside others relevant to your organization.
  • This adjusts the dashboard to show data only for the department you selected, letting you focus on specific teams.
  • You can make additional filter selections after this step to further refine your view.
  • For more targeted analysis, select a hiring manager from the hiring manager dropdown. This filter lets you zoom in on one manager’s hiring activities or progress.
  • Using both department and hiring manager filters together will help you pinpoint trends or bottlenecks more precisely for your review.

Using the Quick Actions Strip

  • The Quick Actions strip is always accessible and provides fast links to key tasks.
  • You can post a new job, review applications, schedule interviews, or view recruitment reports by simply clicking the respective actions. These tools are designed to minimize navigation, making common actions easier and faster.

Examining Recruitment Metrics

  • In the metric summary section, interact with high-level recruitment figures such as Open Positions.
  • Selecting the Open Positions metric instantly shows all open roles and provides easy access to details about each position, supporting effective planning and follow-up.
  • These metrics can be explored for instant overviews before making more granular analyses.

Exploring Applications and Pipeline Stages

  • Select any metric of interest such as Total Applications, New Applications, or Shortlisted. Each of these represents a different stage in your candidate pipeline.
  • This enables you to monitor the candidate flow at every step, so you can identify trends, spot bottlenecks, or investigate stages that may require attention.
  • By doing so, you continuously track application progress in real time.
  • In the pipeline funnel chart, click a particular phase—like Applied, Shortlisted, or Interviewed—to open a detailed list of candidates currently at that stage. This allows you to verify candidate movement and see who has progressed where.
  • If you want to examine how application rates have changed, use the application trends visualization.
  • Expand the timeframe dropdown menu. Options typically include choices like Past 3 Years or Past 4 Years.

  • Pick the desired period to compare trends over different years. This step is crucial for identifying long-term patterns and making strategic hiring decisions.
  • Finalize your choice by clicking the period you want to analyze; the visualization will update accordingly.

Drilling Into Candidate Pipeline Visualizations

  • Interact with visual elements—such as the bars in the applied chart or specific pipeline stage indicators—to examine candidate populations at distinct steps of your process.
  • Selecting these lets you drill down into application stages, gain insight into candidate movement, and better understand where attention may be needed for pipeline optimization or quicker time-to-hire.
  • Review all visualized stages or data tiles to complete your analysis, ensuring you have a full understanding of recruitment health and pipeline flow.
